About us

ARCO is an architecture studio founded in 2020, working across private residential, mixed-use and urban-scale projects in the UK and internationally. The practice operates with a clear interest in architecture as both a cultural and technical discipline, shaped through iterative design, close engagement with clients and stakeholders and a careful reading of site.

Timothy Culverhouse leads the studio. His experience includes more than a decade working with Sir Peter Cook on design and research-led projects in the UK and abroad, alongside consultancy roles on larger developments.

Alongside practice, Timothy has contributed to architectural education through teaching, reinforcing an ongoing commitment to critical enquiry and architectural discourse. He is a UK-registered architect (ARB) and a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
